Chromebook Deployment at Bullitt Central High School
Chromebook deployment is bigger for the 2017-2018 school year with the addition of sixth, seventh, eighth and nine grades. The first deployment occurred at Bullitt Central High School. Parents and students enter Bullitt Central's gymnasium for Chromebook deployment. Various tables were stationed for students to register for Chromebooks by their last names. Various paperwork was necessary along with scanning in the Chromebook device before it could be issued to students. District Technology Integration Specialist Christie Turbeville hands a Chromebook and electronic equipment to a student. Inside Bullitt Central's Hub, students logged onto their new Chromebooks. District Technology Coordinator Jim Jackson worked alongside students to log in Chromebook data. Technology Secretary Peggy Ernspiker assisted a youth with the log in procedure. Officials with Bullitt County Public Libraries offered students the opportunity to receive library cards during the Chromebook deployment. After successfully registering and logging in, a youth happily receives her Chromebook from District Technology Coordinator Jim Jackson.
