Old Mill Elementary School Agriculture Field Day
Old Mill students learned how dairy cattle are cared for and provide milk, cream and cheese products. Country Corner Greenhouse staff discussed proper planting and growing techniques. Butler Dairy Farms allowed Old Mill students to pet cattle. Old Mill students learned about the Louisville Water Company Riverbank Filtration System. Butler Dairy Farms allowed Old Mill students to pet cattle. Old Mill students learned about the importance of soybeans. Old Mill students learned about the importance of soybeans. Butler Dairy Farms allowed Old Mill students to pet cattle. Marty O'Bryan discussed the importance of horses and agriculture life. Old Mill Elementary School held its first agriculture field day Sept. 22. Presenters included Salt River RECC which demonstrated the usefulness and hazards of power lines.
