Military Veterans Visit Cedar Grove Elementary School
Vietnam War veteran P.J. McCartt showed his photo album to Cedar Grove students. U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran Kenny Hardin had several items for students to see. Cedar Grove Elementary School students admired some of the Korean War memorabilia of veteran Ray Armstrong. L-R: Air Force and Vietnam War veteran Neil Corbin, U.S. Army and Vietnam War veterans Kenny Hardin and Larry Coy, and Korean War veteran Ray Armstrong shared their military experiences with Cedar Grove Elementary School students. Military veterans participated in a student question and answer session sponsored by Family Resource Center Coordinator Tammy Perdew. The veterans were videotaped during the student question and answer session. Teacher Theresa Wicker and her students looked through an album of Vietnam Veteran Jimmy Reynolds. Military veterans visited Cedar Grove Elementary School students for a question and answer session by students. U.S. Army Vietnam Veterans Jose Rosario and Randall Fish shared their military experiences with Cedar Grove Elementary School students. Cedar Grove Elementary School students in Theresa Wicker's class were greeted by Bob DeVore Sr., a Navy submarine veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
