If you are having difficulty locating a teacher's website, please contact the teacher directly and they will send you the direct address to their teacher website.

Technology PD - November 13, 2014

Our next district Technology PD (Teacher Academy) is scheduled for Thursday, November 13th from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Roby Elementary School Computer Lab. This will be a One iPad in your Classroom - What do you do? session - “What can you do to engage students with one iPad?  How can you use the iPad for your production?  We will go over tools quickly in the first hour then give you the last hour to play with the tools, load apps, setup accounts, etc.  Please bring your iPad with you as we will NOT have additional iPads to share throughout the audience.

Danita Cobble has been hired as the newest Technology Integration Specialist (TIS) for Bullitt County Public Schools. She joins current district TIS’ Keith Barnes, Christie Turbeville and Susan Vincentz.

Lisa Lewis is the new grant writer for Bullitt County Public Schools. She began her duties Jan. 25th and has been busy meeting staff and researching funding opportunities which will directly impact students.

Many of you have asked about grants for technology programs, devices, etc.  KySTE (Kentucky Society for Technology in Education) has opened their Outreach Grant Window.  There is over $100,000 in available grant funds to be given away.  You are encouraged you to apply with ideas for programs that would fulfill the Mission Statement of KySTE.

$4 Million in Energy Savings Over 9 Years

Since Bullitt County Public Schools became part of a pilot energy management program in 2006, a total of $4,215,754 has been saved in utility bills.
