All grants to teachers, schools, departments or Bullitt County Public Schools must be accepted by the Bullitt County Board of Education before funds may be spent. Grant recipients should contact the District Grant Writer and complete the Grant Reporting Form. The District Grant Writer will include the grant on an upcoming Board of Education meeting agenda for consideration. Please be prepared to provide:
• A copy of the submitted grant application
• A copy of notification from the funder that a grant has been awarded
• A copy of the grant acceptance form, contract, etc. in need of an authorized signature(s), if applicable
• Any received funds ( check, cash, voucher, etc.)
The district’s Finance Department will hold the funds and make them available to the recipient once the Board of Education has accepted the grant.
Once the grant is approved by the Board of Education, any authorized signature(s) for grant agreements, contracts, etc. should be obtained through District Grant Writer Jackie Roth. Only certain personnel are qualified to sign as an authorized BCPS representative.
