2018 Elementary School STEM Challenge
Nichols Elementary School Primary Level Students Earned First Place. Second Place primary division went to Shepherdsville Elementary School. Third Place primary division went to Pleasant Grove Elementary School. Brooks Elementary earned First Place in the Intermediate Division of the STEM Challenge. Cedar Grove earned Second Place in the Intermediate Division. Third Place in the Intermediate Division went to Pleasant Grove. Primary students collaborated on this year's STEM Challenge This year's STEM Challenge was constructing a car that would run on rubber bands. Overdale Elementary School teacher Whitney Voyles spoke with primary students. Primary students worked individually to construct their rubber band car. Primary students worked away.
