BCPS is headed back to school!

BCPS is headed back to school

We are excited to welcome our students back into our halls! Below is the plan for phasing grade levels back into schools:

  • September 28: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades

  • October 5: 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades, along with 6th & 9th grades

  • October 20: 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grades

By phasing students back in grade levels, we can better protect our students, staff, and the entire community. While we would love to have everyone back at once, we recognize we are still in the middle of a global pandemic, and the safety of our students, staff, and community members is our top priority.

Please remember to keep your student home from school if he or she has been exposed to COVID-19 or is experiencing the following symptoms:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

This will prevent from spreading the virus or any other sickness throughout the buildings.
