BE Senior Prom & Junior Ring Ceremony

Prom & Ring Ceremony

BEHS is happy to provide our students with a little bit of normalcy as we approach our Senior Prom and Junior Ring Ceremony! Following is the information we have available on each event. Event details are subject to change based on COVID-19 safety restrictions, so please bear with us additional or changed information may become available.

Senior Prom/Dance:

  • Saturday, May 8, 8:00-11:00 PM at the Kentucky Derby Museum

  • We are thrilled to have such a decadent venue and the potential for glorious weather in which to celebrate the Class of 2021

  • Prom will only be open to the BEHS senior class due to safety guidelines

  • There will be no attendance requirement, but students must be passing their classes, completing Naviance tasks, and caught up in credit recovery

  • Get grades up and purchase tickets by April 30 (one week before the dance)

  • Prom is a dressed up occasion!  ALL STUDENTS MUST BE IN SEMI-FORMAL ATTIRE OR BETTER.  We are relaxing the dress code to accommodate the outdoor location and the potential for warm weather in May.   Students are welcome to wear long formal dresses/tuxedos etc, or they may wear a fancier short dress/khakis, button down and tie.  Regular school clothes (jeans, t-shirts, ball caps, etc.) are NOT ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE. Failure to dress appropriately will result in not being admitted to Prom and no refund will be given.

Ring Ceremony:

  • Tuesday, April 20, 6:30 PM in the big gym

  • This event is not mandatory, but all juniors are invited to participate, no matter where they received their rings

  • If students purchased a ring and do not want to participate in the ceremony, they can pick it up the following day at school

  • UPDATE to Ring Ceremony -- Students can have 4 attendees (this includes who will be turning their ring).

  • If they would like to sign up, they need to be sure to add their name to the Google Form on the Junior Google Classroom.    We are extending the deadline to Friday, April 9th.
