ROC/Campbellsville University dual credit pathway in Criminal Justice offered for 2021-2022


The Riverview Opportunity Center will be offering a Criminal Justice Dual Credit Pathway Campbellsville University in Louisville, KY. The pathway is being offered to juniors and seniors for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year and includes 21 hours of Criminal Justice classes including Juvenile Justice in America, Criminal Investigations, and General Psychology. 

These course credits can go toward a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. Areas of study within this curriculum include law enforcement, the courts, corrections, criminology, juvenile delinquency, and victimology. Graduates of the Criminal Justice Administration program have the opportunity to pursue careers such as: 

  • Agent in the CIA, FBI, DEA, Secret Service

  • Crime Prevention Specialist

  • Criminal Investigator

  • Supervisor of Corrections Officer

  • Homicide Detective

  • Probation Officer

  • Sheriff

  • And more


These credits will be transferable to Campbellsville University (CU) after graduation, allowing students priority acceptance to CU - Louisville. The credits also have the opportunity to be transferred to other schools, depending on their curriculum and course matchings. 

To be eligible for this pathway students must: 

  • Have a 2.5 GPA or higher

  • Complete a Dual Credit application

  • FERPA Form

  • Provide a copy of unofficial transcripts

  • Have English III: Freshman Composition I (3)

    • Or equivalent from another University

    • Completed during junior year
