ACT Registration

There are several opportunities to take the ACT this year.  The ACT is a required entrance exam for most colleges as well as being a requirement to meet the College Readiness standards for graduation.  The next available ACT date is October 25th.  You must register before September 19th to avoid paying a late fee.  Go to www.ACT.org to create and account and register.  If you have questions about how to register come to the guidance office, or the College Coaches office in the library.  Fee waivers are also available for those who qualify.

The ASVAB is a multiple choice test administered by the US Military and used to determine qualification for enlistment in the US Armed Forces.  It is offered to high school students when they are 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.  Even though the test is administered by the military, it is not a requirement that a test-taker must enlist in the armed forces.  This test can be used towards Career Readiness in place of work keys.  A score of 50 or higher must be earned.

Bullitt Central will be administering the ASVAB on Thursday September 25th.   To sign up please see Mr. Cox in the guidance office by Tuesday September 23rd.  This test is no cost to students.
