Welcome to Bernheim!
Welcome to BMS! The teacher webpages are a great way to stay on top of your student's activities each week. Teachers do have their lesson plans posted so you can download those and see what your student will be learning in each class every week. Please take a few minutes to browse through my pages as well. I am trying to update and add new information as time allows and things come available. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
We encourage parents to get their background check completed at the start of the year so that when opportunities arise, you can join us with our activities. Parents can contact Stephanie Dillman at 869-4000 to arrange a time to come in and fill out the background check. Please note that beginning the 2012-2013 there is now a cost associated with the background checks, but they will be good for two years. A background check is good for all Bullitt County public schools for the two year time period.
Monthly newsletters for each grade level will be sent through a distribution email list and will be posted on the school's website. We hope you have given your email to the teachers to have it emailed to you. If not you can look up class information, future events, project that have been assigned, and other pertinent information on the school's website.
We ask that every family keeps us up to date on changes such as phone numbers and addresses as this information is vital to communication with you about your student. We utilize School Messenger to send out automated calls about upcoming events, school cancellations, and reminders to the students. We must have a working number in order for you to stay up to date on information. Parents must go on their Parent Portal accounts to do updates or to opt out for a phone number to no longer receive calls. If you have not set up your Parent Portal account in order to access this information as well as your student's grades, please contact Sandy Veatch at 869-4000 to set this up.
