Thanks to a generous grant from Ford Philanthropy, facilitated by our partners at Metro United Way, Bullitt County Public Schools will receive $82,000 to support students experiencing homelessness through transportation and academic services. This funding will help us provide gas cards, part-time van driver services, and academic supports like tutoring, credit recovery, and college and career readiness support to up to 500 students, removing real barriers and creating real opportunities. Big theatre dreams, and even bigger talent! BCHS senior Kaylee Dequardo was just named a Kentucky Keynote Emerging Artist of Promise by the Kentucky Theatre Association. She is one of only four students selected across the entire southeastern region! This award means Kaylee is headed to Baltimore on a fully funded trip to the Southeastern Theatre Conference, where she’ll audition, workshop, and connect with theatre professionals from across the country.
