✨ Day 3 of All in for Ag Education Week was all about hands-on learning (and some tasty treats)! 🐄🍞🧈
A big thank you to the Bullitt County Farm Bureau Federation for donating supplies so our 7th & 8th grade Practical Living students could make their own butter. And what’s better than fresh butter? Enjoying it with warm, homemade bread from Hinton’s Orchard & Farm Market of Larue County!
Another fantastic day of fun, learning, and farm-to-table experiences! 🌾💛

Thursday is School Spirit/Ag Proud Day! Show your school pride by wearing a BLMS shirt or show your agriculture appreciation by wearing blue and yellow!

Great job last night Bobcats!

✨ Day 2 of All in for Ag Education Week was full of dairy discoveries! 🐄🥛
Some of our Bobcats welcomed Ms. Melissa Huggett, Program Coordinator with the Kentucky Dairy Development Council, along with a special guest—NBHS Senior & FFA President, Olivia Rogers.
Students learned about milk quality, safety, and the hard work farmers do every day to ensure our milk is safe and healthy. Students also learned essential vocabulary like homogenization and pasteurization. 🧑🌾💡 Did you know that milk never touches human hands until it reaches your home?
To top it off, students got hands-on by making their own butter! 🧈👏 What an awesome day of learning and fun with Mrs. Huggett and Olivia!
