SHOW YOUR BRUIN PRIDE! 🐻🏀🔵🟢
Our Lady Bruins have been working hard in practice. There’s nothing like walking into a gym filled with cheering parents, teachers, and classmates to make these student-athletes feel like superstars. Come out, cheer loudly, and help us fill the gym with high energy for game day! Let's fill the bleachers and support our young athletes!

One of the exciting things to watch this year will be the development of our first-ever Agriculture Program at BMS! 🐰🐹🌱
Mrs. Tucker has hit the ground running, and our Bruins have already welcomed lots of new animal friends to campus! Students are getting hands-on experience learning about animal care, proper handling, responsibility, and what it takes to care for living things.

Today we’re celebrating four Bruins who are already making a difference at BMS!
👏 Ava, nominated by Mr. Goff, did a wonderful job welcoming our new students to BMS and representing us on the news. As a CEO, she is an exceptional leader at BMS and in our community and exemplifies what it means to be a Bruin!
👏 Carley, nominated by Ms. Watkins, did a great job helping with Cubs Camp this summer and welcoming our newest Bruins to BMS. She is a great leader who is always willing to do whatever is needed to help her teachers and classmates!
👏 Cameron, nominated by Ms. Harrison, stepped up to help with morning buses this week. When something was needed, Cameron was quick to share his resources and lend a hand!
👏 Wesley, nominated by Ms. Brandie, shows all the qualities of a great Bruin. He is respectful, polite, and always willing to step up and help—even when he doesn’t have to. He sets a great example for others to follow!
Bruin Clap on 3 for our first Bruins of the Day of the year: Ava, Carley, Cameron, and Wesley! 👏👏👏

BEST. FIRST. DAY. EVER. 💙💚🐻

We celebrated our newest Bruins, welcomed our new teachers, facilitated friendships, connected with one another, got interviewed on the news 🎥, and celebrated together at our first Renaissance Rally! Today was filled with the people, moments, and energy that make Bruin Nation so special.
Year 2026–27 is officially underway, and if today is any indication, this is going to be one incredible story. 💫

We're excited to officially welcome Mrs. Cassady Beeny to the Bernheim Middle School teaching staff!
Many of our students and families already know Mrs. Beeny from her work as our School Designated Guest Teacher during the 2025–2026 school year. This fall, she'll be joining our teaching team full-time, and we couldn't be happier to have her continue her journey at BMS.

Bernheim Middle School is excited to welcome Mr. Calvin Bickett to our Special Education Department. A Bernheim alumnus, Mr. Bickett is returning to the school that helped shape his journey, and we couldn't be more excited to have him back.
We know our students will benefit from his enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to helping every learner succeed. Welcome home, Mr. Bickett! 💚

Our Bernheim team spent this week learning, leading, and celebrating at the Jostens Renaissance Global Conference—an event that brings together educators from across the world to share strategies for building positive school culture, strengthening student leadership, and improving academic achievement.
We were proud to see Mrs. Bush accept Bernheim Middle School’s recognition as a 2026 Jostens Gold School of Distinction, an honor that reflects our commitment to creating a school where every student feels connected, celebrated, and supported.
Mrs. Bush, Ms. Link, and Ms. Watkins also had the opportunity to present a breakout session highlighting the BMS CEOs, our student leadership team, and the impact student voice has on our school community.
Most importantly, our Staffulty returned home inspired, bringing back countless ideas to continue strengthening the culture, climate, and academic success of Bruin Nation as we continue Creating a Legacy of Excellence for Every Student, Every Day. 💙💚🐻

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Cole Pike to Bruin Nation! 💙💚 We are excited for our students to learn from his experience, enthusiasm, and passion for education. We can't wait to see the impact he will make in our math department this year!
