Three more days left to send in donations for families affected by childhood cancer! Please send in non-perishable, individually wrapped snack items before Friday. The Aviators are currently in the lead for the popcorn party, but hope all of our students want to be community contributors and donate what they can, regardless of reward! Tomorrow's spirit dress is "Put a Lid on Cancer!" If students wear a hat, they can dress down for free, but we ask that they try to bring in at least one item to donate if possible! Thank you for your continued support of our community, Eastside! 🎩 🧢 👒

Dear 8th Grade Parents and Guardians,

It’s time to submit 8th Grade Baby Pictures for the yearbook! Baby pictures will be collected a little differently this year, so please read the information below carefully.

Baby pictures must be submitted by the deadline. Late submissions cannot be accepted. This year, yearbook pages will be submitted to the publisher throughout the year rather than all at once. The 8th Grade Baby Picture pages will be completed and sent to the publisher by the end of September. Once those pages are submitted, we will not be able to add additional pictures.

Please note: Screenshots cannot be accepted. Jostens’ yearbook software does not support screenshot image files, which means they will not print. To ensure your student’s picture can be included in the yearbook, please upload the original photo file or take a picture of the actual photograph.

Please use the Google Form below to submit your student’s baby picture:

https://forms.gle/FKoL1sCvsPXV6SkE6

Families with more than one 8th grade student:  Use each student’s school email address.

Please make sure your student’s picture is submitted on time so they can be included in this special 8th grade yearbook tradition!

Thank you!

Good morning Eastside families,
We are getting closer to the start of an amazing school year, and we have a few important updates to share.
Homeroom Assignments:
Students should now be able to log in to Infinite Campus to view their assigned homeroom teacher. If you notice an error, such as your student being assigned to more than one homeroom teacher, please contact our school counselor, Mr. Bates or during open house.
Student Schedules:
Official student schedules are still being finalized. As we continue preparing for the new school year, schedules will be updated in Infinite Campus. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure every student has the best possible schedule.
Schedule Change Requests:
We understand that some families may wish to request classroom changes. At this time, schedule changes will be very limited to none as we work to balance class teams and create the best learning environment for all students. Thank you for your understanding and support during this process.
Lunch:
Great news, Students will have lunch with other students in their grade level as we finalize our school-wide schedule.
Dress Code:
If you have questions about the dress code, please visit our school website. From the Menu, select Academics, then Back to School for complete information. A direct link is also included below for your convenience.

Good morning Eastside Family,
Every year, families need to complete the fee waiver and the free/reduced lunch forms, if they feel this is something that would benefit them. The free/reduced meal application will waive students for breakfast/lunch. We request families complete a fee waiver form to have fees waived. If unsure if you'd qualify, please complete the forms, just in case you do meet the qualifications. This is something that MUST BE COMPLETED EVERY school year.

If you have any questions regarding these forms, you can reach out to our Youth Service Center Coordinator, Jennifer Lowe. Her email address is Jennifer.lowe@bullitt.kyschools.us
