We made it to our first weekend of school. There is no tired like the first week of school tired.
Here is the weekly newsletter link:https://bcps-newsletter.edurooms.com/engage/freedom-elementary-school/newsletters/8-15-25
We will see you on Monday for a full week of learning.
Mrs. Wilson

Good afternoon,
We had a great first day of school!
As we reflect on the day, we would like to remind all families who pick up students in the afternoon to wait until 3:15 to arrive for dismissal. If you arrive before then, you interrupt the traffic flow of Hebron Middle. Also, please do not drive between the schools and around the back of NBHS to bypass the car rider line.
There were a few hiccups with the buses this afternoon but we look forward to getting everyone home earlier tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience.

We can't wait to see our students tomorrow.
Please see the link attached below for more information about the first day of school:

Don't forget about our Open House on Thursday and Friday of this week. You can sign up for a personalized time to meet your child's teacher.

Thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), BCPS students at eligible locations will receive free school meals again this year!
Eligible Locations: Brooks Elementary, Cedar Grove Elementary, Crossroads Elementary, Freedom Elementary, Lebanon Junction Elementary, Maryville Elementary, Nichols Elementary, Overdale Elementary, Roby Elementary, Shepherdsville Elementary, Bullitt Lick Middle School, Bernheim Middle School, Zoneton Middle School.
In order to maintain this program and support critical school funding, each family is still required to complete a Household Income Form (HIF). This form ensures we have accurate data to continue receiving important resources that benefit all students.
📝 Please take a moment to fill out the HIF online by scanning the QR code on the flyer or visiting this link.
📞 Questions? Contact Jennifer Davenport at 502-869-8064 or jennifer.davenport2@bullitt.kyschools.us.
Together, we’re moving forward to support every student, every day.

There was a mixup with the settings in Infinite Campus. Central Office is fixing it and you should be able to see your child's teacher soon.
I apologize for any confusion.
Have a good day.

This Thursday, July 24, 1st-5th grade class lists will be ready. You can find your child's teacher in two ways:
1. Posted on the front doors of the school after 10:00 a.m.
2. Posted on Infinite Campus after 9:00 a.m. Please use Parent Portal.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to call the school to access the list.
You must have a completed registration for the 25-26 school year to have your child on a class list.
I will send out a link to a Google Form on Thursday where you will sign up for a time for Open House.
Kindergarten lists will be posted next Thursday, July 31.
Have a good week.
