Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Lauren Burnett as the new Principal of Hebron Middle School. With over 20 years of experience working with K-12 students and eight years in administration, Ms. Burnett is a dynamic leader with a passion for creating supportive environments where students and staff can thrive.

Ms. Burnett has served as a classroom teacher at the middle school level, assistant principal at the high school level, and principal at the middle school level. Her work has focused on evaluating and implementing programs, fostering proven academic success initiatives, and building positive school culture that all align with BCPS’s core values of authentic learning and strong relationships.

“I am thrilled to accept the position as Principal at Hebron Middle School,” said Ms. Burnett. “It was clear to me as soon as I walked through the doors that this place is special. I am excited to meet everyone and begin this important work. Together, I feel confident we can reach our full potential. It’s a great day to be a Panther!”

Superintendent Dr. Jesse Bacon shared his excitement for Ms. Burnett’s leadership, stating, “Lauren is a collaborative and student-centered leader who understands how to create safe, inclusive environments for learning. Her experience and dedication will be invaluable in building on Hebron Middle School’s strong foundation and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.”
