Hebron Families,

We need you! We want to make our open houses (and year in general), the best yet! In order to do that, we need volunteers! If you can help with manning a cotton candy, snow cone, or popcorn machine, please reach out to Principal Burnett at lauren.burnett@bullitt.kyschools.us.

If you would like to learn more about opportunities to help in general, please contact the PTSA to get involved at - hebronpantherspta@gmail.com.

As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child and we know ours have the BEST. Thank you in advance for partnering with us.

Sincerely,

Lauren Burnett

These young athletes showed grit, teamwork, and the heart of true champions. We’re so proud of their effort, leadership, and love for the game. The future is bright for Lady Panther Basketball! 🧡💙🐾

Dear Hebron Middle School Families, It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Hebron Middle School. I am honored to join this incredible school community, and I look forward to partnering with you to support the success, growth, and well-being of every student. I bring with me over 20 years of experience in education—13 years as a classroom teacher and 8 years in school administration. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Education (K–12) from the University of Kentucky and have a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership (K-12) from Eastern Kentucky University. I am also a proud wife and mother of four children, which deepens my passion for building safe, supportive, and enriching learning environments where all students can thrive. Beyond the school day, I enjoy reading, riding and showing Saddlebred horses, and diving into DIY crafts. These hobbies keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of creativity, balance, and joy—values I also hope to foster within our school culture. With that focus, we have worked to provide some new and exciting opportunities for students within our unified arts programs. This year students will have the opportunity to be in two elective courses per semester which include the following- Phycial Education, Band, Career Studies, Visual Art, Agriculture (new), Media/Project Based Arts, and a Performing Arts class (new). Our core content teachers will also be teaching electives which you will learn more about including STEM and project based learning. At Hebron Middle School, we are committed to maintaining high expectations, celebrating our students’ efforts and achievements, and creating authentic, engaging learning experiences that prepare them for the future. My goal is to ensure every student feels valued, challenged, and supported every day. We have outlined these expectations in our new student handbook as well as posted some google forms on our school facebook to allow families to submit ideas. Please be sure to check that out. I am thrilled to be a part of the Hebron community and look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and outstanding students to make this school year our best yet. As always, it’s a great day to be a panther and we ask that we each adopt the motto of: #Paws-itiveVibesOnly With gratitude, Lauren Burnett Principal, Hebron Middle School
