Good evening! Tomorrow is Field Day! We will have our day of fun rain or shine. Here are some things to remember to bring tomorrow to make it a success!
- a towel
- a change of clothes
- water bottle
- sunglasses/hat/rain jacket
- money for snacks!
I would recommend putting sunscreen on your student before coming to school. If they’d like to bring a small backpack to carry their belongings they can, but they are responsible for it. We will have a Field Day regardless of the weather! Can’t wait to have an awesome day tomorrow!

Student Take Over Day was a blast for all! Students took on roles that their chosen adult does! Several sets matched outfits too! (Post 2/2)

Ice cream party is tomorrow for the class who completes the most online registration! Please get this completed!

Transportation just let the school know that 1320 is NOT running this afternoon, Wednesday, May 21.

Information attached for learning opportunities for incoming kindergarteners.

Field Day is a little over a week away and we need your help! We are in need of self tying water balloons and snack donations! We need snacks like chips, cookies, and crackers. Also, drinks like water, mini gatorades, caprisun’s, etc. If you bring in an item to donate, your students name will be entered into a drawing to win a scooter! We will be accepting donations until Friday, May 23rd!

Due to the threat of severe weather this evening, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s performance. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our priority at this time.
We are rescheduling the Friday night performance for Monday at 6:00 pm. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled performance, you can either attend the Sunday performance at 2:00 pm or contact the school for a refund.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

📚✨ Exciting news, Maryville K-2 families! ✨📚
Children’s author R. Friend is visiting our school next Thursday, May 22! 🎉
Look for a book-order form coming home in your child’s backpack—return it with payment to snag a signed copy for your reader. Let’s show R. Friend a warm Maryville welcome and keep our kiddos’ love of reading growing strong! 🌱❤️

Yearbooks still on sale until May 16!

Our MES fundraiser has been extended until May 20!

Friday was full of fun and encouragement to hype up our older students (grades 3-5) for KSA testing. We had a student v. staff basketball game and then our foam party. The foam party was for students who grew on their iReady test. (picture set 2)

We want to take a minute to recognize the MES Green Team(MES Water Savers) for their hard work and dedication on their project. They have been recognized NATIONALLY by The National Energy Education Devolpment Project as Kentucky Elementary Level School of the Year. We are so proud of our coach, Mrs. Berryman and our Green Team students. Please help us celebrate these amazing students. 💚
