Let's make sure they have the support they need. Drop off your donations by Friday, November 7th!
Please see the attached flyer for more information.

✅ General Guidelines:
All outfits must be modest and age-appropriate for elementary students
No weapons (real or fake)
No scary costumes, blood, or gore
No full-face masks or face coverings
Costumes must allow students to use the restroom independently
Outfits must not disrupt learning in the classroom (ex. student must be able to sit at a desk with no issue)
📌 Please keep in mind that the principal has the final say in determining what is appropriate. If you're unsure about a costume or outfit, it's probably best to choose something else.
Thank you for helping us keep Halloween fun, safe, and respectful for all students!

Second Grade Success Alert! 🚨
Mrs. Kimball's class successfully wrapped up their project about their favorite places, which included a fantastic display of map-making and opinion writing! Students practiced being Effective Communicators by speaking clearly, providing supporting details, and presenting their ideas with confidence.
We love watching them grow as writers and presenters! Great job second grade!

As we get ready for the fun of Red Ribbon Week and Halloween, we’d like to remind families of our Dress Code Expectations and guidelines for upcoming “Dress-Up” and “Spirit” Days.
While these special days allow students to show their creativity and school spirit, we ask that all costumes and outfits remain school-appropriate and within our dress code policy.

🎨🎶 Happy National Arts in Education Week! 🎶🎨
At Nichols Elementary, we know that the arts aren't just subjects — they are powerful tools for expression, connection, and growth. This week, we are proud to celebrate the impact of arts in our students’ lives and shine a spotlight on the heart of our Arts program: Mrs. Elizabeth Yates. 💫
Mrs. Yates is more than just an educator — she’s an inspiration. She brings creativity, kindness, and passion to every art and music lesson she teaches. Whether it's a paintbrush or a piano, Mrs. Yates helps our students discover their voices and express who they are in meaningful, beautiful ways.
Thank you, Mrs. Yates, for nurturing creativity, courage, and connection in every child you teach. You make Nichols Elementary a more vibrant, thoughtful place. 💛
