To wrap up our celebration of Kindness Week, Miss Kentucky came to speak to us about showing kindness to our communities through the importance of agriculture and kindness to our bodies through nutrition and overall wellness. Her inspiring message encouraged us all! 👑💗 Through a partnership with Kentucky Department of Agriculture, we were able to offer this presentation FREE to all students in grades K-5.

The Beta Club is partnering with Mrs. Patterson in the library as the 5th grade reads Shiloh, they would like to help the pets in our community. We are asking for donations to help the pets at our Bullitt County Animal Shelter. There is a box placed in the front hallway by the Kindness Tree for anyone who would like to bring any of the suggested items.

⭐️Kindness week is here!⭐️ Today we “dreamed of kindness” in our pajamas. Thanks to our wonderful PTA we also began highlighting students random acts of kindness and compliments with this beautiful tree. We challenge everyone to show a little extra kindness to those around them this week. Tomorrow is “crazy for kindness”. Students may wear crazy hair and/or socks.

Today we celebrate School Resource Officer Appreciation Day and the incredible impact our SRO, Officer Jeff Schank makes in our elementary school each and every day! From greeting students with a smile in the morning to showing off dance moves (yes, even the Griddy!) and jumping into fun events, our officer helps create a safe, joyful environment where kids feel supported and cared for.

Thank you Officer Schank for building positive relationships, keeping our school safe, and bringing so much happiness to our hallways. We are grateful for all you do for our students and staff! 💙🚓✨
