This week on **Beyond the Bell**, we’re celebrating Pi Day with BAMS 10th grader **Jaxon Howard**.

Jaxon shares what made the Bullitt Advanced Math & Science program stand out to him — a strong sense of community, supportive teachers, and a group of students who are focused on their future. From memorizing digits of pi at Discovery School to tackling advanced coursework, Jaxon explains why students who look ahead and value their education thrive in this environment.

Outside the classroom? You’ll also hear about his newest passions — roller coasters and teaching himself guitar. 🎢🎸

Catch the full conversation and get a glimpse of what makes the BAMS experience so unique.

Today, Mrs. Todd's students stepped into two different economic worlds: mass production and the cottage industry. Most of the class worked on a fast-paced assembly line, mass producing products as quickly as possible. A small group worked in a cottage industry model, creating unique, customized products with more attention to craftsmanship. Then we switched roles so everyone could experience both systems. By the end, students didn’t just learn the definitions—they experienced the trade-offs: ⚙️ Efficiency vs. quality ⚙️ Quantity vs. creativity ⚙️ Speed vs. craftsmanship Check out the photos to see the difference between the mass-produced items and the one-of-a-kind cottage creation. #MovingForward #YourStory #BCPSROC
