Families, as you've likely heard BCPS has approved a realignment plan that shifts the feeder pattern for students living in designated areas. There is a lot of information surrounding this and families who are impacted have options should they want to stay at SES for next year and beyond. Please read the information, specifically the FAQ section, if you're impacted by the realignment. The BCPS realignment hub can be found at the following address: https://www.bullittschools.org/page/bcps-realignment-plan Information about the plan, as well as who to contact with questions can be found there.

Families please see the message from BCPS if you haven't already: Thank you for your understanding as we navigate an urgent situation in our community. A major water main break has left our schools without running water, functioning toilets, or HVAC systems. With outside temperatures nearing 90 degrees, it is not safe to keep buildings open for students and staff. As a result, all Bullitt County Public Schools will be closed today, August 19. This is not an NTI day. At this time, we do not have a timetable for when service will be restored, but we will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as quickly as possible. High school students who were already in transit this morning are being returned home by bus. We recognize the disruption this causes for families, and we are deeply grateful for your flexibility and patience as we work through this challenge. Please continue to check district communication channels for the latest information. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our students and staff.
