At Bullitt Central, school safety is everyone’s responsibility. During Kentucky Safe Schools Week, we encourage our students, staff, and families to take the Safe Schools Week Pledge and commit to helping create a safe, supportive, and welcoming learning environment for everyone.

This year’s Kentucky Safe Schools Week theme is “Strong Roots. Safe Schools.” The pledge is an opportunity to take an active role in building a culture where everyone feels connected, supported, and seen.

Take the pledge and join us in strengthening the roots of a safe school community:

Jostens will be at Bullitt Central tomorrow morning to meet with our Juniors and Seniors! Students will have the opportunity to learn more about important upcoming milestones, including class rings, graduation announcements, caps and gowns, and other senior and junior class products.

Juniors and Seniors—be sure to take advantage of this opportunity and get the information you need as you prepare for these exciting milestones! 🎓🐾

We’re kicking off Homecoming Week with Dress for the Wrong Occasion! Come to school dressed for anything BUT school! Whether you’re ready for a wedding, the beach, a workout, a big game, or even bedtime—let’s see what you’ve got! 😂 Let’s start the week with some Cougar spirit and have some fun! #BeSeenAtBC #WeAreBC 🐾

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, is our first round of ELS Benchmark Testing for Math for all freshmen and sophomores.

Benchmark testing helps us understand how our students are performing academically and provides valuable information that helps guide instruction and identify areas where we can continue to grow as a school.

Please help us by:
Prioritizing your student's attendance tomorrow.
Encouraging your student to take their time and give their best effort.
Reminding students to come to school with a fully charged Chromebook.
Encouraging students to take the assessment seriously and remain focused throughout testing.

We appreciate your support as we work together to help our students grow, learn, and succeed at Bullitt Central!

Thank you,

Bullitt Central High School

Attention Senior Parents and Guardians,

We previously sent an email explaining how to access your student's senior tux and drape portraits. However, we were unaware that Lifetouch had recently changed their access process for senior portraits. In the coming weeks, as soon as they arrive from Lifetouch, we will be sending physical photo proofs home with students. Each proof will contain a unique Portrait ID and Access Code, which will allow you to view and order your student's portraits online.

Once you receive your student's physical proof, please follow these instructions from Lifetouch to access the images:

Log onto mylifetouch.com and select the A Code From Lifetouch tab.

Enter the Portrait ID from the proof (an 8-character combination of numbers and letters).

Enter the Access Code from the proof (a 4-character combination of letters and numbers).

Enter the student's last name.

Enter your relationship to the student.

If your student missed picture day and has not yet taken their senior tux and drape portrait, a makeup day is scheduled for Thursday, November 5.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this updated process. If you have any questions regarding the ordering process, please contact the Lifetouch National Customer Care Team at 1.800.736.4753 or by using the online chat feature at https://my.lifetouch.com. Their hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Thank you,

BCHS Yearbook Staff

BCHS Families,

We are excited about the great start our students have made to the 2026–2027 school year! Please continue talking with your child about our school-wide expectations, as well as our telecommunications device and dress code policies. Your partnership helps us create a positive and successful learning environment for all students.

Each quarter, we will host a ROAR Rally to recognize and reward students who meet our school-wide expectations through academic success, positive behavior, and strong attendance.

Our first ROAR Rally is Friday, October 30! To participate, students must have:

🐾 No D’s or F’s
🐾 No behavior referrals
🐾 No more than 3 unexcused absences

We look forward to celebrating our Cougars this year!
