We value the voice of our families and encourage any eligible parent, stepparent, foster parent, or legal guardian of a currently enrolled BCHS student who is interested in serving to consider this opportunity.
If you are interested in becoming a parent representative for SBDM, please complete the nomination form below. The form includes additional information about SBDM, eligibility requirements, responsibilities, and the election process.

The wisdom they shared? Journal the moments because time moves fast. Respect your teachers even when it's hard. Don't worry about making friends, you'll meet more people than you ever thought you could. And never underestimate the power of a chicken patty Tuesday.
These graduates didn't just move through BCPS. They navigated it with intention. They set goals, leaned on mentors, and owned their path from kindergarten to commencement. They looked back and knew exactly how they got here.
This is what it looks like to be a Self-Directed Navigator. Not just surviving K-12, but reflecting on the journey and recognizing the people and moments that shaped it.

We have heard rumors circulating about a possible senior prank. As we approach graduation week, we ask that you please speak with your senior about making good decisions and avoiding any behavior that could jeopardize their ability to participate in next week’s senior activities, including graduation.
We want all of our seniors to enjoy and celebrate this special time safely and positively.
Thank you for your support and partnership!
