🎙️ Beyond the Bell Spotlight
We’re cheering on one of our own! Olivia Pruitt from Bullitt East High School is headed to the Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis this June and we couldn’t be more proud.
When asked what the experience will feel like, Olivia shared one word: “Amazing.” She’s excited to represent her school, share how supportive her teachers and staff have been, and connect with students from across the country.
Here in BCPS, we believe students flourish when given opportunities to grow, lead, and pursue their passions. Olivia exemplifies what it means to be a Productive Collaborator and Community Contributor: representing Bullitt County with pride, teamwork, and heart.
Join us in wishing Olivia the best as she represents Bullitt County on the national stage! 💙💛

Dear Perspective Student Drivers and Families,
We’re excited to support you as you prepare for your driver’s permit test!
To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend starting the No Pass/No Drive form process at least 10 calendar days before your scheduled appointment. This allows enough time for:
The student to complete their portion
Verification of student credentials
Required signatures to be gathered
Notification of completion (email to student)
Student pickup of the completed form
Processing typically takes 1–5 school days, depending on the volume of requests, staff availability, and the time of year. Please note that this is not a same-day or counter service process.
Breaks and holidays may cause delays. In these cases, we’ll share updates through Email, Text Messages, School Announcements, and Google Classroom.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Best of luck on your upcoming test!

BEHS participated in the Louisville Polar Plunge again this year, raising over $1,500 for Special Olympics and our Project Unify Inclusion Club! ❄️
Part of the funds will support Special Olympics, and a portion will come back to BEHS to continue growing inclusive opportunities for our students.
We are proud of our administrators, instructional assistants, and students who braved the cold and took the plunge today! ❤️💛

We love our exchange students at Bullitt East! One of our substitute teachers is also a Local Coordinator with International Experience, and she’d love to answer any questions you might have about becoming a host family. Her name and contact information is at the bottom of the attachment.
