Think you have what it takes to hit the bullseye?

National PTA Day was September 26, and it happened to fall on the same day as our Fall Festival! What a perfect day to celebrate the people who work so hard to make events like this possible.
They do so much for our students, staff, and school, and we are so thankful for all the time and effort they put into making Freedom Elementary a great place to be.
Thank you, PTA, for everything you do! We appreciate you a million times over!!💙❤️
⭐📸 Spotlight Sunday📸 ⭐
We can't just stop with one! So many great things have been happening in our building. On Friday, our 5th graders and Kindergarteners were Productive Collaborators!
Our 5th graders had the chance to visit the Kindergarten History Museums, listen to their presentations, and learn from some very proud young historians.
A big thank you to our Kindergarten teachers for giving our 5th graders the opportunity to be role models, and to our 5th grade teachers for giving our Kindergarteners the opportunity to share their hard work!

Our 3rd graders have been hard at work behind the scenes! They teamed up with our PTA and classrooms across the school to add up the totals for our Fall Festival auction baskets and created the awesome posters you saw hanging up yesterday!
Our students were showing what it means to be Community Contributors by using their math skills to help make a school-wide event a success. We love seeing learning have a real-world purpose! 💙

Cheer tryouts are coming up! Check out the flyer for all the details. Students must have a sports physical on file. We can’t wait to see you there! 💙❤️

Come see us Friday, September 25 from 9 AM–5 PM at participating Bullitt County McDonald’s. 9.25% of mobile order proceeds will support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

Kindergarten has wrapped up their Science and Writing unit on force by becoming Playground Investigators! Our scientists explored the playground to identify different forces in action, then reflected on and documented their findings with our Digital Learning Coach. We ended our unit with one of our favorite activities-Kindergarten Tug of War! 💪 Each class put their learning to the test as we observed force in action and had LOTS of fun along the way!
