PBIS is a school wide plan developed to promote desired student behaviors through consistency and positive interactions. Please indicate if you would be interested in joining the Maryville PBIS committee as a parent stakeholder. The committee will be meeting over the summer to improve and develop school wide expectations, systems, and interventions. We are currently only accepting one-two parent members to join. Big thanks to all our volunteers, we couldn't do it without you. But, an even bigger thank you to our Volunteer Coordinator, Mrs.Faith Murphy. She may be titled the Volunteer Coordinator, but she actually does a little bit of everything. Mrs. Murphy is a one of a kind person. She goes above and beyond for MES. She's a go to resource for anything and everything for both parents and teachers. We're so thankful for her kind heart and being part of our MES family!

Hi families and friends, Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art. There are over 50 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Order forms are coming home soon but in the meantime, click on the link below and enter your child's name to search for your child’s artwork. Then, have fun shopping! https://bit.ly/mesart

Happy National Preschool Teacher's Day to our wonderful Mrs.Wooldridge. Mrs.Wooldridge has taught so many of our students throughout her years at MES. Some of our favorite things about her are: her patience, her joy for Spirit Days (she never misses an opportunity to dress fun!) and her love for her sweet kiddos. We love you!

Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome Day! It is marked each year on March 21, beginning in 2007. The 21st day of March (the 3rd month of the year) was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome. To mark this special day, one of our friends celebrates by wearing crazy socks. If you want to show your support tomorrow for our MES friend, wear your crazy socks tomorrow!
