Our recycling efforts were given some extra help from these awesome can crushing kiddos. Thanks to 3rd grade friends; Brantley, Rowan and Raelynn for spending their points to smash the cans so we can have more room in the bin. Thanks to all those who have donated cans to be crushed. Keep them coming in!

It has been a great first week for recycling aluminum cans. Our third graders have been busy keeping the inside bins empty. They appreciate all those who have collected and donated cans. They encourage everyone to ask family and friends to save their cans to help them reach their goal of 150k!!

Great way to end the week, playing the switch with James for Adventures with Adams. Love that our students are earning those points and want to spend time with me!! Our students are the best!!

Please plan ahead - bus 1973 will NOT run in the AFTERNOON on Friday, 10/4.

Another awesome friend earned points and bought Adventures with Adams. Aubrey chose drawing a hamster that she named Boomer. She has quite an artistic talent.

Mrs. Adams had the privilege of getting to spend Adventures with Adams playing games with these 2 sweet girls. Harlow and Carly earned points to buy this opportunity. Fun times!

Victoria knows exactly how to follow the expectations when lining up. She was a master role model of how it should look and sound. Thanks for making our school a pleasant place to be!

Happy National School Principals' Day!
Thank you for all that you do each and every day to support our school, teachers and our students.

Thank you to our all of our wonderful custodians here at MWES! Your hard work and dedication to keeping our school looking great is appreciated.

Lukas was making awesome choices while lining up from lunch. He was so on task that you couldn't miss noticing his efforts. We are so proud of him!!

As a reminder please plan to do any early checkouts today (9/27) no later than 3:10pm. We will not release any students from the office after 3:10pm. After 3:10pm please join the car rider line.

We are just hours away from our 3rd graders introducing the start of our aluminum can recycling contest to the students. They will perform a skit explaining the importance of recycling and how bringing in aluminum cans will help our school. So ask your family and friends to save so we can fill this bin!!

These students are such role models. They did such an awesome job knowing and showing how to dismiss from the cafeteria after lunch. Ava, Everly, and Cody we are so proud of you!!

Thanks to our partnership with Tri-arrows for coming in to kick-off our recycling of aluminum cans with our 3rd graders. We are competing with about 15 other schools across the country to have the most cans. Our goal is 150,000 cans so all students can ask family and friends to save their cans. Then bring them to school! We want to fill the bins!!
