In May, 8th grade students in Mrs. Weddle's Integrated Reading and Writing in Science class, submitted podcasts for the NPR student podcast challenge. Eleven podcasts were submitted into a pool of 1500 entries from across the country. The topic was about "Human Impact and Sustainability" in our local community.

Please celebrate with us as we recognize Malorie B., Lilly H., Olivia P. and Ella Y., for their podcast, "The Cost of a Click".

Good luck to the Lady Generals Basketball team in their games for the week of September 28.

Games will begin at 5:30 pm. Due to injuries, the 6th grade game may or may not occur.

The Youth Services Center (YSC) at MWMS has been busy working behind the scenes to help ensure our students have the support they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom.

Our goal is to help remove nonacademic barriers to learning by connecting students and families with resources such as medical and mental health referrals, basic-needs assistance, food assistance, community resources, and more. If your family needs support, please reach out. We are here to help connect you with resources available in our community.

Bullitt Day for BCPS staff is Oct. 12. Students will return to school on Oct. 13.

🏹 MWMS Archery Open Gym + Make-Up Tryouts are coming! 🏹

Not happy with your score at tryouts on September 21st? That’s okay! You’ll have another opportunity to show us what you’ve got!

Join us for Open Gym this Saturday, September 26th, from 4–6 PM. Come get some extra practice, work on your shot, and get comfortable on the range.

Still want another shot at making the team? Our Make-Up Tryouts will be held Saturday, October 3rd, from 5–6:30 PM.

Everyone is encouraged to attend Open Gym, whether you’re looking for extra practice or preparing for the make-up tryouts.

Last night was the Lady Generals Basketball Team's 8th grade night. The team showed the 8th grade players a lot of love and recognition both before and during the game.
