8th grade students hosted a Human Rights Expo today. Parents and the community were invited to hear projects presented by students that covered a wide range of topics.

Students have been working on this project for several weeks and did a phenomenal job!

MWMS looks forward to recognizing 8th graders at this year's promotion ceremony at Bullitt East High School on May 27 at 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

Students will receive additional details from their 8th grade classroom regarding the ceremony as the date approaches.

May 1 thru May 7 is Physical Education Week. We wanted to take a moment to thank Mr. Cunningham for all he does for our MWMS Generals in Gym class and Health class. He always goes above and beyond to ensure our students have a great gym experience!

Our 8th graders danced the night away last night (April 30) at their 8th grade dance. The 8th grade Generals dressed up and looked amazing and had the best time! Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening possible! #ForTheMount

May 1, School Lunch Hero Day! We are so lucky to have Mrs. Votaw and her cafeteria staff to work at feeding our Generals! They ALL go above and beyond everyday! We appreciate you so much! Thank you! #ForTheMount

Today was a great day in the community! 💜💛 15 MWMS students were able to go to Ace Hardware and learn how to measure, tour the store to learn about products, and locate items in the store. We then walked to Sissy’s Tacos where students could place their own order and enjoy lunch donated by Sissy’s Tacos. Our final stop was People’s Bank of Mt Washington where students took a tour of the bank, learned how to budget, and write a check! What a successful day for students. 💜💛 Thank you to these businesses that allowed our students to visit and learn. #ForTheMount
