Mark your calendar... The Valentine's Dance will be taking place on February 12 from 3:00-4:30 pm. This is a fundraiser for the EdRising Club.

Students will receive a permission slip by the end of the week in their Crew with additional details.

Congratulations and good luck to two Generals who swim for the Bullitt East Swim Team!

Eighth graders, Abbie D and Miles L, swam at the Regional Championships last Saturday and put up some fast times!

Abbie placed 2nd in the 500 Freestyle with a Personal Best and an automatic advancement to swim again at State! She also cut time in the 100 Breaststroke for a PB and placed 5th.
She was a critical part of two relays that broke school records for Bullitt East! The 400 Freestyle relay advanced to State.

Miles placed 11th in the 50 Freestyle and had a huge time drop for a PB in the 100 Breaststroke, placing 13th. He also swam in two relays that had best times and the 400 Freestyle Relay broke a Bullitt East school record. Both relays are advancing to State.

They will swim at State this Saturday and University of Louisville.

8th Grade Families:

Mark your calendar for a Parent Night at Bullitt East High School on February 10 at 6:00 pm in the BEHS Main Gym.

This will be an opportunity to learn about BEHS and what to expect for your freshman year. This is always very informative!

MWMS Baseball: There will be a parent meeting this Thursday, February 5th, in the MWMS library from 7-8pm for all student athletes interested in trying out for baseball at MWMS. *Student athletes are encouraged to attend. #ForTheMount

For those interested in the MWMS Baseball Team and been attending open hitting/batting practices, there is no batting practice at KSA tonight (February 2).

This week is National School Counselor Week. MWMS would like to thank Mrs. Fenwick and Mrs. Green for always going above and beyond for our Generals. These two work so hard to ensure our Generals are successful at school and in life.

Boys Middle School Soccer open gym Info: Due to weather temperatures, Boys Soccer Open Practice from 4:30pm to 6:15pm on Sunday 2/1 will be indoors at Eastside Middle School Gym. Please wear indoor soccer or flat sole athletic shoes. Thanks, Coach Dan

Good luck to the MWMS 7th grade Generals Basketball Team who will be playing in the 2026 KBC 7th grade State Championship this weekend.

If you would like to purchase an MWMS yearbook for your student that is personalized, the deadline to do so is tomorrow, January 30. All orders this year are being done online at www.jostens.com. If you do not want personalization for your yearbook, the deadline to purchase is February 26.

The base price of a yearbook is $30. Yearbooks will be delivered sometime in May, usually after state testing. Students receive yearbooks before the end of school. There is never a guarantee of extra yearbooks for purchase, so it is advised to pre-order your yearbook.

MWMS, you are doing AMAZING with NTI. We have had 98% and 99% participation over the last two days. THANK YOU Generals and parents/families for getting logged in and work completed.

Beta Club is raising money to build a Little Free Library that will be placed outside of our school for the community.

To raise the money, we will have two days where we host an "Afternoon Snack Cart" to give students the opportunity to purchase snacks. We are looking for donations of individually packed snacks (ex. chips, drinks-must be Coca-Cola products, candy bars, Little Debbie Snacks....)

If you are able to donate any of the following please drop it off to MWMS before Jan. 30th.
