Their supervisors had nothing but great things to say—bragging on our students and the way they’ve stepped into their roles with confidence and professionalism. Both interns are showing incredible promise, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow.
At this time no student drivers or their guardians should be using the entrance/exit located off of Robin Way. That is to be used only in the evenings during athletic events. The gate for that entrance will be closed beginning today.
Today’s joy at NBHS was brought to us by Larry Vaughn! Larry goes above and beyond for our school grounds, staff, and students each and every day. No job is too big or too small—he jumps in wherever he’s needed without hesitation. If you’re lucky, you might even catch him rolling through the halls on his maintenance bike, roller skates, or hoverboard, bringing smiles along the way.

Today our students took learning to the next level using VR headsets to explore a real-world genetics problem—selective dog breeding! 🐶🧬
They were fully immersed, analyzing traits and making connections between science concepts and real-life applications. Even Ms. Wegley joined in on the fun! #EveryEagleEveryDay
Today our Emerging Eagles graduated from the Bullitt County Young Leaders Program with the Chamber of Commerce. Over the past seven months, they participated in monthly experiences designed to help them learn from and engage with leaders and stakeholders across our community.
We are so proud of their leadership growth and thankful to the Chamber and our sponsors for providing this invaluable experience. 👏🦅
Students in Ms Knight’s Holocaust Studies class visited the Cincinnati Museum Center today to see the Auschwitz: Not Long Ago, Not Far Away traveling exhibit. Students saw real artifacts from the Auschwitz extermination camp and heard survivor accounts of their experiences.

Today HOSA welcomed Cassie Downey, CRNA, as our guest speaker! She shared about her role as a nurse anesthetist and the pathway to becoming a CRNA. She even brought hands-on demonstration tools to help students better understand anesthesia and patient care.
