The Help Us Grow (HUG) reading program is providing our 1st-3rd students with a great opportunity this summer break! Students can Learn & Earn all summer long and HUG is giving out $100 gift cards again!

Do you have a child or know of a child starting kindergarten in the fall of 2023? 2023-2024 Kindergarten Pre-Registration opens March 13, 2023. In person registrations are located at each elementary school from 9am-3pm! If you register your new Kindergartener here at Nichols, you will receive a Kindergarten Transition backpack as well as a children's book!
Current and New student registrations will open on March 14, 2023.
Parents with students new to Bullitt County School District or returning to BCPS from outside the district will need to provide the following information and documents:
Current Photo ID/Driver's License (Required to Register)
Two Proofs of Residency (Required to Register)
Student Birth Certificate (Required to Register)
KY Certificate of Immunization (Required to Register)
Health Care Examination Form (Required to Register OR Appointment Card)
Eye and Dental Exams are required by January 1, 2024
In case you didn't know, this week is Classified School Employees Week! Classified employees have earned respect as educators and partners in the education community. Nichols has no shortage of amazing Classified Employees!
Our custodial and maintenance staff are keeping our school clean and safe.
Bus drivers and transportation staff are getting students to school safely.
Office staff are meeting the needs of students, parents and administrators.
Food service workers are keeping students fed and ready to learn.
Paraeducators are supporting students as they overcome so many new challenges.
Not a day goes by that we do not appreciate our team. We've got the best in the county!
