We have our pumpkin contest winners! For K-2, Miss Ophelia won with her Fancy Nancy pumpkin! For 3-5, Miss Kaylee won with a perfectly Pigeon pumpkin! (Don't give the Pigeon any candy, please.)

I am Ms. Maggie Bledsoe and I have taken over the position of Attendance Clerk. I hope that y'all can bare with me as we make this transition!
We always appreciate a message or phone call if your student is to miss school. Please know that if your student is absent, we require a PHYSICAL note for it to be properly documented and/or excused. You have up to 5 days to send in a physical note! (Exceptions are made at the Principal's discretion.)
Again, emails, Dojo messages, and phone calls are incredibly helpful, but if your student is to be excused, it is most important that we receive a doctor or parent note for documentation.
I look forward to working with each and everyone one of you!

Don't forget the PTA Fundraiser Classics Car Show is THIS Saturday, October 15th from 12 noon to 4 pm. The costume contest will be held at 1 pm. Trunk or Treat begins at 2 pm. The cars will be judged at 3 pm, with winners being announced at 3:45 pm. Come out and support Nichols Elementary! Go Knights!
