Friendly reminder for our Old Mill families: Lunch visitors will be unavailable during the next two weeks due to state testing. During testing, lunch schedules may shift and space is very limited throughout the building. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to provide a smooth and focused testing environment for all students!

This is what authentic learning is all about!

Our third-grade students have been combining force and motion with measurement, area, and perimeter as they designed their very own putt-putt golf holes. At the launch of the unit, students had the opportunity to learn from ATC students, ask design questions, and think like real problem solvers.

After reviewing our students’ blueprint designs, the ATC students shared how impressed they were with the detail, creativity, and thought our students put into their work. They were so impressed that they decided they wanted to bring one student's design to life and build a model themselves!

A huge shout-out to Mrs. Troutman and the ATC students and staff for working together to make this real-world learning experience happen for our students.
