Secondary Education
When students advance to the Middle and High School levels, the educational focus shifts to preparing them for life after BCPS. The Secondary Education Department works hard to identify opportunities for students that not only meet all curricular needs, but provide the opportunity to explore career options and various interests to help them determine their individualized path upon graduation.
Bullitt County secondary education is comprised of six traditional middle schools, three traditional high schools, one alternative school, three FlexSchools, an Advanced Math Science Center (BAMS) and a Career Readiness Center (CRC). BCPS schools also partner with Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC) to offer college classes for juniors and seniors at the Bullitt County JCTC campus.
