Lisa Rigazio Named Principal of Nichols Elementary School and District Preschool Coordinator
Nichols Elementary School and Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Lisa Rigazio as Principal of Nichols Elementary and District Preschool Coordinator, effective immediately. Mrs. Rigazio brings a wealth of experience and a deep-seated commitment to fostering student growth and development that aligns with BCPS’ mission of cultivating authentic learning and meaningful relationships.
Mrs. Rigazio most recently served as Assistant Principal at an elementary school, with additional experience as Assistant Principal at the middle school level, Dean of Instruction, and classroom teacher. Her numerous accolades, including being named a Kentucky Colonel for her work in literacy and receiving multiple teaching excellence awards, reflect her dedication to student-centered learning and community engagement.
In her dual roles, Mrs. Rigazio will lead Nichols Elementary’s continued commitment to safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments that honor every student’s potential. As District Preschool Coordinator, she will oversee and support high-quality early learning programs that build strong foundations for the district’s youngest learners.
