We are proud to announce that Kimberly Thompson, a dedicated teacher in the Bullitt County Public Schools system, has been awarded the Lilly & Mark Kurtz Educator Award by the Holocaust & Humanity Center. This award recognizes Ms. Thompson's outstanding contributions to Holocaust and humanity education.
Her remarkable accomplishments include developing educational materials for the Louisville Ballet's production of A Time Remembered, serving as a regional leader with the University of Kentucky Jewish Heritage Fund Holocaust Education Initiative, being a Sam and Roma Kaltman Teacher Fellow, and her participation in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's Teacher Fellowship cohort.
