MHS Project Grad Car Show Update

On Saturday, June 25th, MHS Global in Mount Washington hosted a car show benefiting BCPS Project Graduation. There was quite a turnout at the event and the community came together to raise $2,749 for BCPS Project Grad!

"We would like to thank MHS and their employees for their generous donation to Bullitt County High Schools' Project Graduation events.  Each school will appreciate the funds very much," said BCPS Grants Coordinator, Jackie Roth. "This donation will give these programs a jumpstart for the next school year that they do not normally have. Thank you, MHS, for your dedication to keeping the seniors of Bullitt County safe!"

"Project Graduation is such an important and anticipated event for our high school graduates," said BCPS Superintendent, Dr. Jesse Bacon. "It is an opportunity for them to celebrate their accomplishments with their classmates in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. These types of experiences are not possible without the support of community partners like MHS. We are extremely grateful for their continued generosity and commitment to our students and the success of our schools."

We appreciate MHS and are glad to work with them to express our Core Value of Shared Accountability - we're all in this together because our Students Matter Most!

About Project Graduation

This June, Project Graduation celebrated its 30th Anniversary. Project Graduation is a volunteer group of parents, staff, and community members with the goal of organizing "Grad Night". Through donations and the work of volunteers, Grad Night provides a fun-filled evening for our recent graduates while keeping them safe and off the roads. Project Graduation has become much more than an event that occurs on graduation night – it is a community-wide effort to create a safe, positive, drug- and alcohol-free environment for our seniors as they celebrate their first night as high school graduates.
