Hello, BCPS Family!
As you know, last year we worked hard at targeting our messages so that they went only to those that were impacted by the specific information included, especially in regards to transportation communications. However, as the new school year kicks off, we wanted to let you know that we will not be able to target specific buses for communications until we are able to get all of our student transportation information updated in Infinite Campus for the current school year. This is an annual process that takes roughly until September to complete.
Throughout the month of August, please note that should a school experience a transportation issue or outage, all students and families in that school will receive this messaging. Once we get our bus lists updated in September, we will resume our normal practice of notifying only the specific bus(es) that are impacted.
