This guy right here is a mastery learner and a self-directed navigator. Zaiden is the first student in his third grade to master his multiplication facts. He set his goal and has been working every night at home to practice and review without any prompting from anyone else. He was determined and it has paid off as you can see with that smile.

It's a great day to have a great day. Shout out to these students for being leaders in their class and striving to be better each day!

Brantley was a self-directed navigator in the library today. While working to create a website to show the different books that he has read, he took initiative to seek out feedback to make his website better and more visual.

What type of home can withstand a hurricane? Third graders have been learning about design and then worked with peers to create a home that is waterproof and can withstand hurricane type winds. They brought their learning to life today with the use of a leaf blower to gradually simulate wind increasing in force from a level one to a level five.
Did their home survive?
