Hello all - please be advised that the only way to get a class picture this year is to pre-purchase one using the Lifetouch order form sent home this week. Package D is likely your best option to get a few individual pictures and a class picture - the cost is $14.99. In the past there has been an option to purchase just the class picture for $10, but this is not the case this year. You can also pre order on mylifetouch.com using the picture day ID EVTDFN7WH.

In connection with the book our school is reading, The Pet War, we are having our own pet contest. If your child would like to participate they can bring in a picture of their pet by next Tuesday, March 12th. The student's name must be on the back and include your teacher's name to make them easy to return. The pets name can be included on either side. There is a $5 entry fee. The students will vote by putting money in the bag for their pet of choice during the week of March 25th. Can't wait to see your photos!

On Thursday the Gifted and Talented campers gathered at OMES to have a presentation from the Newport Aquarium. They brought stingrays as part of their presentation which was a connection to their current PBL experience. It was great fun visiting with our students!!
The afternoon car riders earned 10
tallies and a pajama day for following the expectations. They may wear them tomorrow Friday if they are not on a fieldtrip. We are so proud of their efforts!!

The basketball games tonight did not disappoint. A great turnout and tremendous effort by each grade. The smiles on faces and the sound of laughter were a win for all. Thanks to Mr. Vibbert and the many volunteers.
Tonight was a great start to a week of class basketball games. We have all-stars in the making! It was lots of fun and many memories were made. Thanks to our families, staff and past Braves for coming out to support!
