Car Rider Procedures (Morning and Afternoon)
At Overdale we strive to provide the best possible experience for our students and their families. We are proud of our car-rider arrival and dismissal process and the safety that it brings to our students. In order to streamline the process even more, we would like to remind you of the following:
1. Please form 2 lines as you enter the school parking lot (morning and afternoon). These two lines will turn into one line when you get to the front of the school. Alternate like you would in a drive-thru.
2. Pull all the way up to the end of the porch so that we can exit/deliver as many students as possible at one time.
3. As you arrive please have your child ready to exit the vehicle with their backpacks on their backs. .
4. Parents/ Guardians should stay inside the vehicle when dropping off and picking up their child (Morning and Afternoon).
5. At dismissal, if your child needs help with their safety belt, please pull over to the side of the school and fasten them securely.
6. If the car in front of you has not moved, please do not pull away from the line and go around the vehicle.

This week our Staff Spotlight goes to Mrs. Stephanie Wilson! She has been at Overdale for three years. Friday, March 15, 2024 is National Preschool Teacher day!
Overdale hosted their first tournament and it was a great success!
Overdale finished 4th out of 7 teams with a team score of 2538.

ZMS Cheer Tryouts will be held April 9 & April 11.
Cheer clinics are being held Thursdays from 6 - 7:30 pm
Our OES Energy Team have been doing great things at Overdale. They have been completing energy audits, a monthly newsletter and an award for an Earth Hero classroom. Great job students and Mrs. McDaniel!
WELCOME FUTURE MUSTANGS! Kindergarten Pre-registration begins tomorrow for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an opportunity to come to the school with your student to complete the online registration and for us to meet our future students. We will have staff available to help with the online registration.
Online Registration MUST be completed before your student is allowed to start. Also, if you don’t have all the documentation needed you can still come register and bring paperwork at a later time. The registration link can be found below if you would like to start the process and can’t make it tomorrow.

Monday, March 11, 2024 is Pre-Registration for Kindergarten students for the 2024-2025 school year. Your student must be five years of age by August 1, 2019. When registering, please bring your incoming student with you along with any documents listed on the flyer. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at 502-869-2800 and we would be happy to help. Pre-registration is from 9:30-3:00 .
