A little late in posting, but wanted to share that Mrs. Schwartz’s fifth graders have been learning all about the Particle Model of Matter! Students put their learning into action by becoming productive collaborators and mastery learners as they worked together to create 3-D particle models representing the three states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas! 🧊💧💨

From planning and building to explaining their models, our Mustangs worked hard to apply what they’ve learned in a fun, hands-on way! We love seeing our students create, collaborate, problem-solve, and show what they know! 💙

Way to go, Mustangs! 🐎🔬 You rocked it! 👏✨

We had several students wearing different colors! Tomorrow, Wednesday is Heroes Take Flight! Create a Superhero Cape - Decorate your own cape or wear anything but a cape as your cape!

Today we kicked off Red Ribbon Week with PJ day. Tuesday is Heroes Unite! Wear your assigned grade level color!

Mrs. Byrd's students had a Mystery Reader today Officer Priddy and Vader! We also used our 5 senses and adjectives to describe apples for our writing lesson. 🍏🍎

During writing, Mrs. Hayes’ sweet first-grade friends explored their five senses through a fun apple-tasting activity! 🍎 Students used their senses to explore fresh apples and apple juice while learning about how we taste, smell, see, touch, and hear the world around us.

Every day, they make sure our students arrive at school safely and get home safely. They are often the first friendly face our students see in the morning and the last one they see in the afternoon. 🥰

Thank you for the smiles, kindness, patience, and care you show our Mustangs each and every day. We appreciate everything you do to keep our students safe and make their rides to and from school special! 🐴❤️💙

We had our Mustang Meeting this afternoon. These students won the Beanstalk Challenge for the month. Dr. DeWar, his Capybara and some students were glad it was Friday.

Today Mrs.Campos' class celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month but letting our classmates share unique things about their heritage! We got to see videos, pictures, and read a book together.
