Overdale Elementary is in need of a minority representative for our School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council. Joining our SBDM Council is an opportunity to actively participate in the governance of our school and directly influence our policies and priorities. Friday, October 24 is PJ day for $1.00 sponsored by our 5th grade students to help raise funds for their end of the year field trip.
TONIGHT is the North End Trunk or Treat at North Bullitt High School from 5:30-7 PM. All north end schools, including Overdale Elem., will be there handing out goodies to students. Bring your family, and get ready for some North End of the County fun!

Mrs. Gibbs’ class worked together using a Jot Thoughts activity to come up with strong reasons to support a claim! 🧠✍️ Students shared ideas, built on each other’s thinking, and practiced being clear, confident communicators. 💡👏

Hosted by the Maryville/Overdale and Brooks/Freedom Family Resource Centers, this event brought together preschool teachers, the BCPS School Readiness Coach, OVEC, Zoneton Fire Department, BCPS Book Bus, and Bullitt County Public Library for a fun-filled evening of learning and laughter.
Students enjoyed trick-or-treating, received books, flashcards, and other take-home family engagement activities! 🍬📚
We loved seeing 21 MES & OES students and their families join us for the festivities. Thank you to all the families and partners who made this event such a special night for our youngest Patriots and Mustangs! 💙♥️ #BCPSFamily #EarlyLearning #TrunkOrTreat #FRYSC

The Overdale 4/5 boys team had their first game last Sunday against Freedom Elementary. They were cheered on by our brand new 4/5 cheer squad. A great time was had by all!
