Our 5th graders put their communication skills to the test today in ELA! Students practiced giving and receiving constructive feedback on their Narnia travel brochures 🗺️—learning how to celebrate strengths and suggest improvements kindly and thoughtfully.
It was amazing to see them collaborating, listening, and helping each other make their projects shine even brighter!

We had several staff and students shining bright today! Tomorrow Thursday is Safe Schools Safe Community. Wear school spirit wear shirts today to show that we are a united school.




Congratulations, Overdale students and families! We have earned the Trailblazer status for Beanstack (at least 75% participation) and also we have already met our first goal of 42,000 minutes for the year. The goal is now set at 53,000 minutes. Keep up the good work and keep reading!

Today was the first day of Red Ribbon week. We saw lots of students and staff in their pajamas Tomorrow, Tuesday is Team Up for Safety! Wear your favorite sports shirt or jersey!

Overdale Elementary is in need of a minority representative for our School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council.
