💻BCPS Online Registration (OLR) for the 2026-2027 School Year

We are pleased to announce that Online Registration (OLR) for the 2026-2027 school year will officially open on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Please note a significant update to this year’s OLR process: we will be requiring all registering existing families to upload a current Photo ID/Driver's License of Parent/Guardian with their current address and 2 proofs of residency.

This is a necessary step to ensure the accuracy of our enrollment records and to ensure we have updated addresses for all our families.

We encourage you to begin preparing your necessary residency documentation ahead of the registration opening date, which will be March 9th.

Below you will find a list of acceptable documents:
🪪 Current Photo ID/Driver’s License
📋2 - Proofs of Residency:
✔️Authentic home builder contract with approved district transfer, lease, closing statement, or other home dwelling document.
✔️Utility bill: Current electricity, gas or water bill with current address
✔️Current employee check stub with current address
✔️Current vehicle registration that matches the driver’s license submitted
✔️Government agency correspondence with current address
✔️Voter registration card

🏆📚 Regional Competition Day! 📚🏆 Our Academic Team competed at Regionals yesterday, and we could not be more proud! These students have worked incredibly hard all year by studying, practicing, collaborating, and pushing themselves to be their very best. Their dedication, teamwork, and perseverance truly showed in today’s competition. No matter the outcome, they represented our school with excellence and determination. Way to go, team! Next week along with our book fair, we will be celebrating Read Across America week. The theme this year is America turns 250. Here is a list of dress up activities that we will be participating in next week.

Next week is our Spring Book Fair!

Help support the fifth graders for their upcoming end of the year field trip! All proceeds go towards the students trip! Money and forms are due by March 11th. Teachers will be wearing their tattoos on Friday, March 13th! @oesmustangs

Our 5th Annual Black History Month Wax Museum featuring our 4th grade students will be February 26th from 1:00 to 2:00 in the cafeteria.

As we keep learning about kindness this month, we are excited to welcome Look Out For The Left Out to Overdale on Thursday, February 26th! 💙

This fun and exciting program will help students learn how to be kind, include others, and look out for anyone who may feel left out. We will talk about friendship, teamwork, and ways to make everyone feel welcome.

We can’t wait to see our Overdale students show big hearts and take care of one another! ♥️
