Thank you Mrs. Oliver for scheduling the Flamenco Assembly for our students. It was a great experience for our students on Friday.

Our students have been busy this weekend with a lot of activities. We will be posting pictures soon.

Families - Just a reminder that if your child is sick or needs to phone home, they are to use the phone in their classroom or office during the school day. Please see the policy attached.

Please read very carefully about our upcoming PIcture Day on Monday February 5, 2024. We will be having class pictures taken on this day as well. IF YOU WANT TO ORDER A CLASS PICTURE, YOU WILL NEED TO PLACE A PICTURE PACKAGE ORDER.

Some more pictures from the IReady celebration.

This week Mrs. Scott’s class has been learning about the types of government in Social Studies. They were given the task of arranging their citizens (gummy bears) to represent the type of government they chose as a group. As you can see they did a great job.

Families - Just a reminder to remain in your cars during drop off and pick-up daily. Staff will assist your child if needed.
If your child is a walker - You are NOT allowed on OES' parking lot. If you want to pick your child up, please ensure you have a car rider tag and pick up in the car rider line.
Please reach out to Ms. Holt if you have questions or concerns at 502-869-2800
Thank you for your cooperation with this matter as our goal is to ensure safety for all students and staff.

This week's Staff Spotlight goes out to Mrs. Allyson Hayes, Kindergarten Teacher at Overdale!

We will be celebrating Kindness Week February 13-16, 2024.

We have had to move all game times back an hour for this coming Sunday, February 4. Games will now be at 3, 4, and 5 o'clock. I am sorry for the change, but it will allow for things to go much smoother.
All tickets will be sold on GoFan or can be purchased at the gate using a debit/credit card. Tickets are $5, all student aged kids are free. NO passes will be accepted other than the BCPS Staff pass. That pass is only good for the individual.
Doors will be open 30 minutes prior to the first game. I have attached the updated schedule.
