Students in Kindergarten-4th grade are starting their first learning excursion PBL. The students will be working through the project with the driving question, how can we take action to make a change in our community? The related arts team is working hard to make the entry event very memorable for students. We will be hosting a career fair on November 13th from 9:30 to 12:30. If you would be interested in sharing your profession with our students, please use the link below to sign up for a table spot at our fair. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Mrs. Compton at Kaylee.Compton@bullitt.kyschools.us https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084FA4AF29A2FEC07-45412903-omes

It has been an exciting week at Old Mill. This week students competed in a school wide STEAM challenge. All students did a great job following the engineering design process and successfully making a marble maze with limited supplies. We will be announcing a K-2 winning team and a 3-5 winning team to represent our school at the district STEAM challenge soon. #koalascreate

This past Bullitt Day our teachers continued diving into learning about integrating authentic learning experiences for our students! Why is this important to us? Having opportunities for our students to have real world connections not only creates their learning to me more meaningful, but when they are more engaged, they enjoy learning! We want our students to look forward to collaborate and being at school everyday!
