We had a great time celebrating Dot Day today! Students learned that they can make a mark on the world through words, actions or creativity. They enjoyed a book by Peter H. Reynolds, danced along to The Dot song and helped create two different murals that we will display at PGE. It begins with a song and how you connect to the words. Then leads into Langston Hughes’s poem, Dreams. Our 5th graders are digging deep as they discuss figurative language and theme.
Hold fast to your dreams and never stop believing!





PGE students who participated in the summer reading program at the Bullitt County Public Library were rewarded with a popsicle party!





Mrs. Schneider’s class has been learning to draw using shapes and now adding facial expressions, hairstyles, and matching skin tone. They did self portraits on Friday!


Bus 2129 will not be operating on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Please make other transportation arrangements.

These toys were collected at PGE this week and even more will be brought to the Bullitt East football game tonight at 7:30. All toys collected will be donated to Norton's Children's Hospital Cancer Unit. Thank you for your generosity!!!

Crazy Hair/Hat Day was so much fun!!





The toys are coming in and students are having fun with our spirit week to support Childhood Cancer Awareness. New toys can be dropped off at PGE or, even better, brought to the BE vs. NB football game on Friday at Bullitt East at 7:30.

Childhood Cancer Awareness spirit week started with Beat Cancer- wearing our favorite team shirts. Check out some of our Dolphins getting in the spirit!




Liz McGuire from the Bullitt County Health Department educates PGE students on the importance of and proper way to wash hands. In this photo, she uses powder to simulate germs. Students then went to wash their hands to see if they were able to get all of the fake germs off.
